Breakup Coach AI ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and display name when you sign up.
• Self-reported healing data: breakup date, relationship duration, breakup type, healing goal, current stage.
• Journal & check-in content: mood scores, text entries, and voice transcripts you create.
• AI coach conversations: messages you send to and receive from the in-app AI coach.
• Subscription data: RevenueCat anonymous ID and entitlement status (we do not receive your payment card details).
• Device data: push notification token (if you enable reminders), preferred language.

2. How we use your data

• To provide personalized healing guidance, check-in responses, journaling insights, and coach conversations.
• To deliver the reminders you configure.
• To manage your subscription status.
• To improve the app (aggregated, non-identifying usage).

3. Data storage & security

Data is stored in Supabase (EU region). Session tokens on your device are encrypted with AES-256 in the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore. Row-Level Security rules ensure only you can read or write your own records.

4. Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication, database, storage. Privacy
• OpenAI — AI coach responses and journal analysis. Content sent is used only to generate the response and is not used to train models. Privacy
• RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy
• Apple / Google — payment processing and push notifications.

5. Your rights & data deletion

You can delete your account and all personal data at any time from within the app: Profile tab → "Delete my account" → confirm. This action is irreversible and permanently removes your auth user, profile, check-ins, journals, coach conversations, and avatar.

6. Children

Breakup Coach AI is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date will be revised and, for material changes, we will notify you in-app.

1. Service description

Breakup Coach AI is a mobile app that offers journaling, mood check-ins, AI-generated reflections, and exercises for people going through a breakup. It is a wellness tool, not a medical service.

2. Important notice

This app does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

3. Subscriptions

• Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or monthly).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID / Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's store settings.
• Price per period is shown on the paywall screen and in the App Store before purchase.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not share content that is illegal, abusive, or violates third-party rights.

5. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
